Our Vision & Values

At South Cave Church of England Primary School, our vision is rooted in the words of Matthew 5:16 to: "recognise, develop and appreciate every child’s gifts so that they may “let their light shine”. We believe that every member of our school family, pupils, staff, parents and carers, have unique potential and a contribution to make to our community and the wider world.

Our school values, respect, compassion, trust, thankfulness and perseverance, aren’t just words on a page. They are values for life, chosen with our community to shape how we learn, grow and behave each day. They are visible in the way we teach and learn, in our relationships, in our Collective Worship, and in how we serve one another.

These values are the golden thread that runs through everything we do. They guide our choices, shape our curriculum, and inspire us to be kind, responsible and resilient learners. They are lived and breathed both in school and beyond, in our families, friendships and wider community, equipping every child to flourish now and in the future.
