Many of our children come into our Reception class from Brambley Lodge Day Nursery & Preschool and we are so pleased to have been able to welcome them to join us in our Princess Anne Building. Having Brambley Lodge on the school site will mean that all adults working with the children in the Early Years can extend their knowledge and understanding of the children to support play, care and learning.

Being situated in a building, within the school grounds, provides a wonderful opportunity for a smooth and less anxious transition for children as they move to ‘Big School’ as they are so familiar with school life already. Once they’ve moved, we’re still there to wave to and get a reassuring smile in those early days. We operate independently of the school, have our own staff, cook and outdoor play spaces. With 26 years experience of providing exceptional childcare, Brambley nurseries pride themselves on a fabulous staff team who are well qualified or, in a few cases, training through an apprenticeship scheme – we love to develop our staff!  We believe children benefit enormously from play and learning in and out of OUR environment, and regularly go on trips into the local community to encourage an understanding of nature and the people around us. But most of all we like to have FUN!
